Fundraiser for Alexis

Thank you for looking into our Fundraiser. Securing my daughter's education for the current school year means the world to me. Please view one of our Introduction videos, take a look at our donation levels and thank you gifts, choose one, then decide whether you would like to donate through "GoFundMe" or "Paypal," each have their advantages and are described below.

Please Note: 

• Fortitudes drawn by Alexis will be listed next to your name on the "Current Fundraising Status" page of this blog. The TAMAHs, Space Rocks, and other Thank You gifts will be hand-delivered to residents of Salt Lake City, Heber, and Park City, and mailed to residents outside of these areas.

#1 - Atmospheric level

If you, also, are low on funds, yet support this cause, ask three or more friends to donate at a Level #2 or higher and Alexis will draw a fortitude for you for as many days as friends your referred. One caveat, the friends you refer must be people who are not already friends of our Facebook page.

#2 -  Planetary level  $1 - $24

Every little bit adds up, and we are grateful for any amount you can spare. When you donate at the Planetary level, Alexis will draw a fortitude for you.

#3 - Solar level  $25 - $59

This is where the donations will start adding adding up quickly. When you donate at the Solar level you will receive the following:

• A Fortitude drawn by Alexis
• One smaller TAMAH
• One Space Rock

#4 - Galactic level  $60 - $99

If we meet our goal prior to November 1st, we will stop fund-raising. Donating at the Galactic level gives us a greater potential of returning to our studies sooner, and gives you the following:

• A Fortitude drawn by Alexis
• One larger TAMAH
• One bag of Fortitudes - set 1
• Two Space Rocks

#5 - Universal level  $100 - $3,000

This is a truly amazing level of donation and adds up at fast. As a Universal donator you have the option of choosing between artwork, a one-of-a-kind hand-bound book, or a large and small TAMAH. In addition, Alexis will draw a Fortitude for you every day for two weeks, and you will receive two bags of Fortitudes (set 1 and 2), along with three Space Rocks.

Items #51 - #54 are prints drawn by Alexis' mom. They are a combination of "I Spy," Escher, and Fractals. "I Spy," because there are all sorts of hidden critters to be found. Escher, because of the way the space in-between the ink is used. And Fractals, because the more you look, the more you see.

Item #55 is a short story written by Alexis' mom combining fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, and is written and bound in a style all its own. The true part of the story puts you in the shoes of the author as she shows you what one of her nights in Thailand was like. Then it morphs into a fictional story of our future, while incorporating two great writers of our past, Milton and Plato. The story ends with a revised version of Milton's poetry.

Item #56 is a finger painting by Alexis. While her painting might initially appear to be a bunch of splotches, if you look at it for a good many minutes, a 3-D image pops out at you. It's like those paintings in the 80s where one had to stand back, squint their eyes, and change their focus in order to see the image portrayed.

PayPal is a service enabling people to send and receive donations without revealing financial details.

PayPal charges 1stgrade4alexis 3% plus $0.30 per donation.

We also accept donations through GoFundMe

GoFundMe is a San Diego-based crowdfunding site geared towards personal causes and life-events. Many feel more comfortable donating to people they do not know when they can contribute through a notable third party.
